LISBON IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

Comments Off on LISBON IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA sara darling, travel

Whether you are a first time visitor, or have been to Lisbon before, the contrast of old and new is spectacular. With the imposing S?o Jorge Castle with its Baroque design and dramatic carved spires dominating the skyline, there is plenty to inspire, and although the city is accessible by foot, be warned, the hills are steep!

My trip seems ages away- hopefully I will be back soon!

MY FAVE AW20 TRENDS FROM LONDON FASHION WEEK

Comments Off on MY FAVE AW20 TRENDS FROM LONDON FASHION WEEK fashion, my words, review, sara darling, style

LONDON FASHION WEEK has just left the building, and the Autumn-Winter trends for 2020 couldn’t have been more timely! Not that I am wishing my life away, but I could certainly wrap myself up in several of the key pieces right now! Roll on spring….

In the meantime, check out my report for IntoView magazine, and see if any of the collections get you excited…

Fashion is cyclical- trends are recycled and it’s hard to come up with something that is completely new. That is, unless you are deliberately re-jigging something old and transforming it with a new lease of life.

MASCULINITY THROUGH THE LENS AT THE BARBICAN

Comments Off on MASCULINITY THROUGH THE LENS AT THE BARBICAN Culture, flush magazine, lifestyle, my words, review

The theory behind the show is that men are more than their parts. In a world where men are seemingly less liberated, with TV showing peacocking males with hairless, chiseled bodies on Love Island and ‘reality TV’, the truth is, men throughout history have been portrayed in many different forms.?

Read my review for Flush magazine. There’s lots to look at, so make sure you have a free afternoon!
