Comments Off on FARFETCH IS EVERYTHING I NEED FOR MY SUMMER WISHLIST blogger, fashion, fblogger, my words, Stylist, womenswear styling

I’m sorry to have to remind you that summer is nearly on it’s way out what with Midsummer’s Day in the middle of next week- and it doesn’t even feel like it’s started yet!

But this is where my smug face comes on, as my summer is actually just beginning with three trips (and time for more) on the horizon!

I have been lucky enough to be asked to attend a charity cycle ride in Lake Garda next weekend.. It’s not a long weekend of cycling for me (thank goodness!) but I will be taking part, along with soaking up the scenery and sampling the delicious Italian food, all to raise awareness for #WorldAwarenessDay

I’m very much looking forward to the downtime at the 4* Parc Hotel Paradiso resort?too- so these looks that are inspired by the Farfetch Content Pack, would be perfect:

These cut off jeans shorts by Alexander Wang, are a summer essential, matched with a white Alexander McQueen off the shoulder top. I would match with the unusual Golden Goose white trainers for a more sophisticated version of the Sam Smith!

For lounging by the pool, I am obsessed by this Missoni bandeau bikini- no tan lines for me! And in keeping with this summer’s colour- I love the burnt orange maxi dress by Maria Lucia Hohan which is full of le dolce vita, and will look amazing for evening cocktails. The icing on the cake will be these Mykita shades. Big enough to make a statement, but cool enough to go with everything!

I’ve also got a weekend coming up to St Moritz.. A very different kind of break, so I need something sophisticated, versatile and easy to pop into my hand luggage as I will be chauffeured around in an convertible car! Black is the perfect choice and I will be able to add some statement shoes, hence me lusting after these:

For the icing on the cake, I will be off to Budapest for a music festival in August. With Rihanna topping the bill at the Sziget, I need to look HoT HoT HoT!

Festivals are known to be muddy, but I am hoping that Hungary will behave itself, however practical packing will be key. I love the boho vibe of the Chloe dress, and the simplicity of the black (natch!) T by Alexander Wang. Both will go with the uber cool military D Squared boots, and I will colour clash with the Versace jacket. When night falls I will wrap up in some trusty AG jeans and love this?asymmetric white top. And keeping the traditional festival vibe I will have the snakeskin bikini and leopard Car shoes ready to pounce!

Look to CAPRERA for your foodie treats

Comments Off on Look to CAPRERA for your foodie treats blogger, food, lblogger, my words, review

Food shopping online should start at Caprera?

Internet shopping is second nature to most of us, whether we are banking, booking a holiday or looking for a boyfriend, there is a handy tool to help us get what we want seamlessly. So it’s no wonder that you should be able to track down some tasty titbits at the touch of a button too.

So when I came across artisan foodie place Caprera, I was smitten from the word go! It’s a site filled with all your larder essentials and tantalising treats which you certainly won’t get in your local Tesco.

With an ethos of bringing a carefully curated selection of local suppliers together on one platform to offer their handmade/specialist products, it is like having your local farmers market at your fingertips! You can peruse the categories, order all your products in one go, and get them delivered to your door at the same time. A genius idea for the hectic life I lead!

My first delivery consisted of Sweet Onion Crackers, so mouth wateringly tasty, I nearly scoffed them all at once! Coupled with Black Olives Pate?by Max Olive Oil, this was the perfect mid-morning snack to assist my creative writing! I took the Nim’s pineapple and kiwi fruit crisps with me on my next day of appointments in London. These are now officially my new favourite treat! So refreshing and tangy, they fulfilled my sugar craving but are 100% natural and are only 74 calories per pack!

I still have the plum and ginger Garden Cider chilling- waiting for our Great British summer time to begin..But I will be checking in again to see what other delights are on offer. With everything from specialist cheeses to chutneys to charcuterie to meringues and olive oil. There is always an occasion for a foodie treat!

Ibiza to Turkey in the same month

Comments Off on Ibiza to Turkey in the same month travel

The extraordinary life of the fashion darling/ travel bunny.

So I’ve just got back from a press trip to Turkey which really opened my eyes…Not about the culture, food or scenery but the dynamics of a group which doesn’t quite get on.

Nobody’s fault, but it has definitely confirmed that being in the Big Brother House would be my worst nightmare! To be continued….
